I’ve felt the same way when using Coda. I’ve paid for it, indicating that I like the integrated environment and supported features, but I’ve had it eat files on me (it seems to hang when trying to save before finally saying it could not save to the server…after the existing copy has been deleted), generally become impossibly slow, and I was quite annoyed when first using it that one of my “Sites” with a Flash homepage was being loaded in memory behind the editor, such that as I moused around the window, I could hear the audio from the Flash movie.
